However, Max learns that this hell teaches him resilience. When he already regained his joy in prison, Max was freed by someone. It turned out to be his father, who told him that the world was at war right now.

His father said that he would be taken to a bunker with his family somewhere. Max refused, but changed his mind when he heard that Ane’s father was also in the bunker. Ane was Max girlfriend who died in a car accident with him, and the reason why he is in jail.

Ewok and RRQ Valorant winning VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 1 (teamrrq.com)

Tough lesson in the first year

Ewok’s departure has left a bittersweet legacy since he first took charge of the team in 2022. His first year wasn’t that great, as finishing 5th-6th in the Valorant India Invitational and 9th-12th in the AfreecaTV SEA Invitationals after losing to BOOM Esports. The next tournament, VCT 2023 LOCK//IN SAO PAULO, RRQ was only able to rank 17th-32nd in the S-tier tournament.

Obviously, this is not a good start for coach Marthinus ‘Ewok’ Van Der Walt. Player changes then made over time, with Jemkin and Monyet joining the team in early 2024 strengthen the squad. Meanwhile, on the other side, EJAY, Emman, 2GE, and Estrella left the team.

”However, this is just the beginning of his legacy. 2025 was the pivotal year for ‘The King of Kings’ resurgence under Ewok’s era”

Bringing first trophy for RRQ Valorant

After learning their lessons and suffering defeats in tournaments, Ewok and RRQ began to find their best form this year. Kicking off the year competing in in VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 1, RRQ managed to bring home the trophy. They defeated Gen.G in the Grand Final with a score of 3:1. Becoming the Asia-Pacific champion has made ‘The King of Kings’ more confident.

After winning the title, they will compete in the Esports World Cup and VALORANT Masters Toronto. Unfortunately, at VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025, RRQ just finished in 7th-8th place, taking home $35,000. Their campaign in Riyadh also came to an end at 9th-12th place. However, RRQ managed to bounce back by securing 2nd place at VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 2.

”During their three years together, Marthinus ‘Ewok’ Van Der Walt left a strong legacy, making The King of Kings a well-respected team on the world stage.”

  • Patrick Kluivert Dismissed as Indonesia’s Head Coach

After almost a year, the Dutch coach is officially no longer in charge of the national team. Through official PSSI statement, both parties agreed to end their partnership. Is this the perfect ending?

    Patrick Kluivert (pssi.org)

    Departs with a lackluster reputation

Shocking news for Indonesian football came today. Not long after failing to advance to round 5 disappointment, PSSI delivered another breaking report. Patrick Kluivert, Indonesia’s National Team Head Coach, has officially ended his journey with the Garuda since his first arrival in January 2025.

‘The termination of this partnership was carried out based on mutual agreement between both parties, taking into consideration internal dynamics and the strategic direction of the national team going forward,” said PSSI on its official statement.”

In fact, Kluivert’s contract is still valid until 2027, with an option to extend for another two years. However, he only managed the national team for eight matches. This sudden decision is said to be the result of the Indonesian national team’s failure to advance to the next round.

The departure of the 49-year-old coach is also very depressing, as he failed to meet expectations. He holds the hope of keeping Indonesia’s dream alive of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Three wins, one draw, and four losses were achieved by Patrick out of eight total games.

    Waiting for Patrick Kluivert’s successor

After Kluivert sudden exit, fans began to speculate on his replacement. Many comments suggest that PSSI should select a proper coach who understands the characteristics of Indonesian football. Therefore, the Garuda still has future goals, such as perform well at the 2027 Asian Cup.

The two most heavily rumored names on the internet are Jesus Casas, former Iraq coach, and Shin Tae-Yong, which was Kluivert’s predecessor. Both names are actually well known due to their familiarity with Asian football culture. Other figures such as Giovanni van Bronckhorst, who has Indonesian heritage, were also brought up.

”The Patrick Kluivert era has officially come to an end. Do you think the ending was tragic, or did the public just put too much hope in him?”
