The founder of the well-known brand Thanksinsomnia, Mohan Hazian, is no longer part of the company. Mohan has been officially removed from ownership following allegations of sexual harassment. He has officially parted ways with the brand he built for over a decade.
Sexual harassment scandal
The case surfaced after a woman shared her experience on X, claiming Mohan acted inappropriately toward her. Furthermore, the case happened while she was working as a model/talent for the brand. She also stated that the incident took place at the brand’s office.
The woman said the incident left her traumatized. That is the reason why she only felt able to speak up months later, after it happened in May 2025. Beyond her story, others have also come forward, claiming they experienced similar treatment in the past.

The news quickly shocked the public. In response, Thanksinsomnia released an official statement confirming that Mohan is no longer affiliated with the brand. The brand also added that the issue is considered a personal matter.

After the issue surfaced, Mohan released his clarification a day later via Instagram. In the video, he denied all allegations against him. In addition, he said that he never committed the acts and claimed the accusations were baseless.
He also urged not to drag people close to him who have no involvement in the matter. However, public reaction to his statement only seemed to complicate the situation further. Many felt his response lacked transparency in addressing the allegations. Moreover, some view it as an act of denial rather than accountability.
However, following his initial statement, Mohan posted a follow-up clarification on his Instagram feed. In this statement, he admitted that his actions had crossed professional boundaries and said they were in no way justifiable. As a form of accountability, he confirmed that he would no longer represent Thanksinsomnia.
