    Saga of explorations

Tame Impala has long been known for its instrumental distorted sounds, accompanied by signature electronic touch. Although they continues to experiment over time, ‘Deadbeat’ album still showcases their signature musical style. 12 songs in total, and you’ll find new explorations in some of the songs, such as ‘Obsolete’ with a slight upbeat like a R&B vibe.

On the other hand, ‘Ethereal Connection’ delivers a more groovy beat, for the entire 7 minutes and 22 seconds. In the early minutes, I was instantly reminded of Shirako Takamoto from ‘Hot Wheels Acceleracers’ TV series. I visualized Shirako driving through a challenging race with ‘Ethereal Connection’ playing full volume in the background. What a good combo.

”Ultimately, ‘Deadbeat’ seems to be the exploration stage for Tame Impala after nearly two decades of work. As Kevin Parker, guitarist and frontman, said to Apple Music, “That’s always something that I get a kick out of: just shaking up expectations.”

    Few of ‘theme’ songs

‘Deadbeat’ album was released by Columbia Records and now available on all streaming platforms. Before you listen, this Tame Impala’s fifth studio album offers a unique experience for its listeners. In case you didn’t know, several songs were created with a typical theme.

‘Dracula,’ for example, is a unique Halloween electro-disco song with a catchy atmosphere. Or ‘Piece of Heaven’ song, that unfolds as beautiful as a nostalgic of vintage synth-pop. At the very core, you’ll see how Kevin Parker and company look over eccentric experiences through diverse musical touches.
