    After the Australian GP ended last weekend, the MotoGP series moved on to the Sepang circuit in Malaysia. Few riders are ruled out due to injuries, including this year’s champion Marc Márquez and Jorge Martin. This leaves the door open for Alex Márquez, Francesco Bagnaia, and Marco Bezzecchi, who still competing for the final standings.

    In qualifying sessions, it was Francesco Bagnaia who actually dominated. The two-time MotoGP Champion managed to take pole position and also won the sprint sessions. Unfortunately, Bagnaia didn’t have the same good luck in the Sunday race, as he went DNF.

    The sweet victory in Malaysian GP was Alex’s third Grand Prix win of the 2025 season. Before that, he managed to win the Spanish GP and the Catalonia GP a few months ago. The 29-year-old rider has delivered his career best in the standings with Gresini Racing since joining the team in 2023.

    The world number 6 men’s singles player started the year with a sub-par performance at the 2025 Malaysia Open. He was eliminated in the round of 32 after losing to French’s Toma Junior Popov. Christie was defeated in three sets thriller 8-21, 21-14, 24-26.

    Started pro at age of 16

    Janice started her professional career as a women’s tennis player in 2018. She was only a 16-year-old at the time. Actually, Janice turned pro after being offered by a friend.

    Janice then became interested and began her professional tennis pursuits in a very young age. Later, in 2022, Janice was ranked 960th in the world, according to the WTA. In the same year, she was also selected to represent Indonesia at the 2022 Asian Games.

    Departs with a lackluster reputation

    Shocking news for Indonesian football came today. Not long after failing to advance to round 5 disappointment, PSSI delivered another breaking report. Patrick Kluivert, Indonesia’s National Team Head Coach, has officially ended his journey with the Garuda since his first arrival in January 2025.

    ‘The termination of this partnership was carried out based on mutual agreement between both parties, taking into consideration internal dynamics and the strategic direction of the national team going forward,” said PSSI on its official statement.”

    In fact, Kluivert’s contract is still valid until 2027, with an option to extend for another two years. However, he only managed the national team for eight matches. This sudden decision is said to be the result of the Indonesian national team’s failure to advance to the next round.

    The departure of the 49-year-old coach is also very depressing, as he failed to meet expectations. He holds the hope of keeping Indonesia’s dream alive of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup in the US, Canada, and Mexico.     Alex’s arrival was announced on social media via ESPN ‘s Shams Charania’s page. Shams said that Alex Antetokounmpo signed a two-way contract with the Bucks. He fills the spot left open by Jamaree Bouyea, who was waived by the Bucks.

    Alex decided to pursue a career in Europe after went undrafted in 2021. Before joining Cream City, Alex played for European clubs, such as PAOK, Podgorica and Aris. However, during his last stint with Aris, he only appeared in two official matches.

    He then returned to the United States to join the G League team, Wisconsin Herd. This team is actually affiliated with the Milwaukee Bucks. The 6-foot-8 small forward was also part of the team from 2022 to 2024.

    The Indonesian national team began their campaign in a group with Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Indonesia’s main target was to at least secure second spot if they couldn’t win the group. Many believed that Indonesia could at least win or steal points from Saudi Arabia, who they had beaten 2-0 in Jakarta a while before.

    If the plan successful, Indonesia’s chances of qualifying directly for the World Cup or advancing to Round 5 are wide open.

    As a serious commitment, PSSI added another naturalized player, Mauro Zijlstra and Miliano Jonathans. The arrival of both of them is expected to have an instant impact, bringing Garuda closer to the dream.
