‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Hype Is Real, But Do We Need It?

Next year, Marvel’s dropping the latest Avengers movie, ‘Avengers: Doomsday’. The hype is real, and yeah, expect those insane lines at the theater again. But… do we even still need another Avengers movie?

Very highly anticipated

‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is Marvel’s next big superhero movie that will released on December 18, 2026. Made by Marvel Studios with AGBO, this film is basically the fifth Avengers movie. This most-anticipated will picking up five years after ‘Avengers: Endgame’ release.

The Avengers link up with the Wakandans, Fantastic Four, New Avengers, and even the OG X-Men to take on Doctor Doom. Well, we all know the cast behind the new villain, which very familiar with the franchise. Robert Downey Jr. will appear in Avengers once again, but as a new character.

”In this movie, Dr. Doom claims he’s trying to “save” reality from total collapse caused by multiverse. But his ruthless approach forces Earth’s strongest heroes to reunite and stop him before it’s too late.”

Should it have ended with ‘Endgame’?

When it was first announced, a lot of people started asking: do we even need this movie story-wise? Endgame already felt like the perfect ending to the Avengers’ massive run. Plenty of critics also threw shade at the Russo Brothers and Marvel, saying this was more about money than storytelling.
