Netflix continues to bring Korean films that have good potential of making hit. From ‘Parasite’, ‘Alive,’ to ‘Balerina’, these Korean films have been everyone watch list on this OTT platform. On October 17, another blockbuster movie titled ‘Good News’ will set the debut.

Inspired by real life story
Set in 1970, this movie will narrate the hijacking of an airplane, which the pilot still attempts to land. The plot involves a terrorist group called the Red Army Faction hijacking a civilian flight. This dangerous group forces the plane to fly to Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea, from Japan, along with all the innocent onboard.
The conflict will continue to grow with time. Things such as mysterious figure Ah-Moo Gae, and the shortage of a proper runway will haunt for 136-minutes long. Basically, ‘Good News’ depicts how propaganda works accompanied by black comedy satire.

Good way to end October
As a quick reminder, Good News will be released on Friday, October 17 on Netflix. You’ll see famous actors like Sul Kyung Gu and Park Hae Soo from ‘Squid Game’ on screen in this fresh Mystery/Comedy/Thriller movie. Before airing on Netflix, this film was first screened at the Toronto International Film Festival and Busan International Film Festival.
The reception was reportedly positive, making this Korean movie a guaranteed exciting show. I mean, it’s gonna be the best way to end October while grabbing some popcorn at home, right?
